JMF Group: Our PR Firm Case Studies
Admiral
We coordinated the PR for the visit of Coronation Street actor Antony Cotton to three stores in Newcastle as part of an in-store competition.
Our PR team drafted media calls, co-ordinated photographers and drafted and issued press releases for each of the three stores. We also co-ordinated the PR for other visits by Antony Cotton to branches in Leeds, Doncaster, and Castleford, and secured coverage in printed and social media.
As part of a coordinated sales campaign, JMF Group delivered in-store point of sale and signage. Our PR team also coordinated the PR for the first winner of a free holiday competition which ran throughout summer 2016 and was operated by Kwik Tan (part of Admiral). Again, PR coverage was secured across printed and social media.
Tyne Housing Association (THA)
We developed a crisis and media management strategy for our client whose board agreed a restructure of their business following the impact of external financial and policy changes required by the Government. One of those decisions was to stop funding the deficit of a popular inner-city farm in the centre of Newcastle. The North East social landlord funded the deficit of the farm for the past eight years.
The strategy was developed to position and identify a new funding partner for the farm. JMF Group provided PR to Tyne Housing Association, working with their management team to draft and agree a formal statement that would be announced to the city’s press and media. The story attracted media interest from newspapers, TV, and social media.
After making the announcement, a new company stepped in and agreed to part-fund some of the deficit for the next three years. Our PR team worked with the management team, the farm and the new company to announce the new partnership by issuing another release which again achieved media coverage in the regional newspapers, TV, radio and on social media.
JMF Group has continued to provide Public Relations, supporting the company through developing a carefully planned media campaign, which has identified new stories to continually raise the profile of the company and the farm. We have also supported the company at events for the farm including a special guest appearance from former Emmerdale actress Charlie Hardwick, organised corporate photography and our digital team is currently developing a new website for the company.
